Alias: Kal, Man of tomorrow, Man of Steel, Dude, Superboy Date of Birth: October 12, 1986... according to Earth time. Eyes: Blue Hair: Black, short Marital Status: Single Education: Smallville Elementary, Smallville High, Central A&M Kansas University.. and the Fortress of Solitude way up north. Due to an encounter in the caves (and using his Key), he also can read and understand Kryptonian symbols.. as well as other languages. Family: Jor-El - Biological father, deceased... but part of him lives on. His soul, essence, memory, or whatever has been stored in the Fortress. Lara - Biological mother, deceased. She has a stored holographic memory in the Fortress as well. Kara Zor-El - Cousin, living. Clark has met the real one this time (a human claimed to be her once). Zor-El - Uncle, details unknown... except that he was his brother's rival, lusted for Lara, and used his science for greed and power. Jonathan Kent - Foster father, deceased.. died of heart attack. Martha Kent - Foster mother, living.. currently working as a Kansas Senator. Friends: Pete Ross, Jordan Cross, Chloe Sullivan, Lois Lane, Lana Lang, Victor Stone, Bart Allen, Arthur Curry, Oliver Queen, Jimmy Olsen, John Jones. Occupation: Unemployed Previous Employment: Smallville Torch, The Talon Known Likes: Martha's apple pie, running in superspeed, doing good for others, writing, drawing, doing chores. Known Dislikes: Betrayal, being lied to, losing loved ones, death, kryptonite, magic, obsessive people trying to find his secret, lying, abusive people, basically anyone who likes to hurt people. Fears: He fears the world finding out his true origin and abilities, then being betrayed, hunted, tortured, and killed. He's even more afraid that everyone he loves will die while he's powerless to stop it. Furthermore, he's afraid that his destiny is to conquer and rule the world.. but in truth, it's to save lives and act as a protector of the planet and lead by example. Powers: Since his arrival on Earth, he's had super speed, super strength, enhanced vision, and invulnerability. But when he was in high school, other unusual abilities started to manifest. Things such as enhanced hearing, x-ray vision, super jumps, heat vision. He can also expel very strong (and possibly cold) gusts of wind from his breath. Weaknesses: While others were given powers from them, Clark is negatively affected by various forms of kryptonite (referred to as "meteor rocks" by the public). Green is lethal to him, red makes him immoral, black splits him into two identities, silver makes him extemely paranoid (actually, Brainiac created that version). He can also be affected by any form of magic. Point in Canon you plan to bring your pup in from: After the Season 7 episode "Arctic." Any items your pup might have on them upon arrival: Kryptonian key, phone, money, Daily Planet tag, El crystal History: Kal-El is not of this world, but of a planet called Krypton. His parents were Jor-El and Lara, members of the Krypton Council. There were several conflicts around the time of his birth. One, an evil Kryptonian named General Zod (with a couple disciples) plotted to overthrow the Council and rule all with terror, but since there was no death penalty, they were exiled to the Phantom Zone. Second, Jor-El knew that the planet would be destroyed but was forbidden to leave or warn others. Third, the highly advanced supercomputer called Brainiac, a superior form of artificial intelligence, knew of impending doom but chose to save its data instead of saving lives. It agreed with Zod's ideology and hastened the planet's demise, but not before storing all it's knowledge in a humanoid form and implanting itself in a separate ship. Jor-El had a ship, but it was small and could ony fit a small lifeform. He decided that the only way to save their race would be to send Kal-El into space, charted destination was Earth (Jor-El had also visited the planet in his youth). The ship was imprinted with Jor-El's memory, his essence, so that part of him would live on and guide Kal to his destiny. The baby landed inside a Kansas cornfield, in a town called Smallville. The infant was discovered by Jonathan and Martha Kent, a farmer couple. They his the ship and raised him as their own, naming him Clark. This happened during a meteor shower in which various forms of kryptonite rained down on the city. Clark was always a "special boy", gifted with powers he didn't understand. He was fast as light, stronger than a million tanks, and had skin which nothing could penetrate or bruise. When he entered high school, he discovered that he was an alien, and later discovered things about Krypton. At the same time, other powers started to show up within him. Super hearing, x-ray vision, shooting fire from his eyes, and jumping a skyscraper with a single leap. Most people in contact with kryptonite were granted super powers, though the stuff was lethal to Clark. Very few knew his secret, except his best friend Pete, and later Chloe. He did some work for the school newspaper. During this time, several of the infected people had somehow or other come into coflict with Clark's friends and acquaintances. This usually led to Clark using his powers to save the day, with the perps ending up dead, comatose, or instituted in a mental hospital. He also became friends with young billionaire Lex Luthor, though this would change a few years later as the bald man took a walk down the dark side. He also got involved with his crush Lana Lang on several occasions, but it always ended in a breakup.. something to do with having secrets. He discovered his Kryptonian heritage when Jor-El's memory contacted him. After a long adventure of misunderstandings and bad decisions, Clark united three Kryptonian stones and it sent him to the Arctic northlands, where the Fortress of Solitude was formed. At the same time, a second meteor shower hit the town, as well as another ship. Except in this case, it was bigger and the travellers were not kind. Two Kryptonians who served Zod, and later, the human form of Brainiac who masqueraded as college professor Milton Fine. The alien AI decieved Clark into being his friend, then used him in an attempt to destroy the Fortress and free Zod.. he failed. But now, Brainiac has returned and secretly works with Lex. Clark failed in stopping Zod, temporarily. He spent time in the Phantom zone but escaped; but in doing so, brought a host of other galactic-type villains with him. Within the year, he gained a new power: super breath. He helped a team of heroes, all guys he had met before, take out one of Luthor's 33.1 labs. He managed to put most of the phantoms back in their dimension. He came across a Martian who worked with his father. There was one phantom left, which took a sample of his DNA, becoming Bizarro Clark. Now, tracking down this imposter, as well as trying to get his newfound cousin Kara to behave, seems to take up his time.
